Behind The Lens
Originally from Romania, life brought me to the UK about eight years ago, looking for a new direction.
I picked up a camera in high school, mostly out of curiosity. Becoming a photographer was never the end goal, and at the time I had no idea where it would take me. I was simply taking random photographs, trying things out and imitating what other people were doing. But that curiosity stuck with me.
Over the last 15+ years, photography slowly grew from a hobby into a genuine passion. I taught myself through videos, books, workshops and, mostly, by going out and taking photographs. I experimented with different styles and projects, and for years I rarely went anywhere without a camera. Street photography became a big part of that journey because I loved its unpredictability and the fact that some moments only happen once.
I’ve spent most of my professional life working directly with people. From hospitality to working with clients and partners, that experience has taught me something I think is just as important as taking a good photograph: understanding people, listening to what they actually need, making them feel comfortable and delivering a great experience.
Photography has been a constant for a long time, and I’ve reached a point where I want to take it further and make it my thing. I’m now focusing on portraits, couples and personal branding, while also being open to working with businesses, brands and other creative projects.
My goal is pretty simple: to create photographs that feel like you, while making the whole experience relaxed, comfortable and enjoyable.
